hi, i'm aquilla!
Aquilla (Quill for short) is a typical 4-year-old boy who loves cars and trucks, jumping, climbing and being active - which keeps us on our toes! But he has a very sweet, soft heart, cares for his little cousins and gives the best hugs and kisses and pats on the back.
little cousins
Quill has lots of cousins, six of them younger than himself. From day one he has been obsessed with the little ones. He was so excited to visit each new baby for the first time and gently pat their heads or sit next to them. Even now we often catch him giving them kisses or hugs, and helping them with a task or directing them away from danger. Quill enjoys talking about the things he will do with his brother or sister when they arrive, and we know from observing him with his little cousins that he will be a devoted big brother.
swimming
Quill loves swimming and going to the pool in the summer. Some days he and Alex would meet up with her sisters and their kids and enjoy a few hours together. Quill had so much fun jumping around in the pool, dancing to the music, and holding Mommy's hand as he jumped into the deeper end and tried to keep his head above the water all by himself. They enjoyed their times during the pool breaks, snacking on some crackers or enjoying a melting ice pop in the sweltering sun. Quill looks forward to sharing those special times with a sibling, and is excited to help them jump into the deep end or push them around on a floaty. We know there are many more golden memories to be made.
snuggles
Quill loves to snuggle! He always wants to be close to those he loves, giving and receiving affection and being cozy. Cuddling under a blanket and reading a book or watching something together makes him happy!
